In his debut college game, Vega blasted a career-high 49-yard field goal to lift the Mustangs to a 20-19 win over Montana Sept. 5 in Missoula.

The junior QB led his team to it’s fourth straight Severance Bowl victory, reaching the endzone six times both in the air and on the ground en route to a 48-10 win over the Mustangs Friday at Gilroy High.
