In the fall, Debbie Hoey of Hoey Ranch sells a variety of unique, hand-picked pumpkins.

What many locals will recognize as the cheerful red barn (visible off Hecker Pass Highway, not far from Syngenta Flowers) is opening back up for the season this week.

Seventh-generation owner Debbie Hoey is a local interior designer who sells “antiques, vintage collectibles and good stuff” out of the horse barn-turned-store. The rustic structure has been in the family since 1854.

Hoey invites locals to “take a step back in time and experience springtime at the barn,” located at 2480 Hecker Pass Highway in Gilroy.

Hoey Ranch is open “during winery hours” from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays through Mondays.
