Lady kickers shut out by Notre Dame-Salinas, 4-0.
SALINAS – The Gilroy High girls soccer squad surrendered four first-goals without an answer en route to Wednesday’s 4-0 shutout loss to host Notre Dame-Salinas.
“We shut them out in the second half. We even had some shots on goal,” head coach Adam Gemar said. “They’re a strong team, but we played really well.”
Gilroy’s player of the game was midfielder Meg Perkins, while teammates Megan Olea, Crystal Quintanar, and Dallas Hernandez all played strong throughout.
