Dear Editor:

On Nov. 28 I wrote a letter to the editor that was published in the Dispatch shortly after.

In my letter, I asked Dennis Taylor, the Dispatch’s own “liberal giant of the printed page” to lay his cards on the table regarding proof of his own self-advertised claim (at the bottom of his weekly columns) as being an “award-winning journalist.”

I asked Mr. Taylor the following: (1) to identify what journalism award(s) you have received, (2)who gave them to you, (3) when they were given to you, and (4) the proof of such award(s).

As best as I can tell, Mr. Taylor has never responded.

Since almost two months have passed since my request and Mr. Taylor has apparently willfully ignored it, therefore, for the sake of journalistic honesty (liberals do possess it, don’t they?), I publicly ask that Mr. Taylor drop the claim of “award-winning journalist” from the bottom of his weekly columns until such time (if any) that he proves such a claim in The Dispatch to the people of Gilroy.Dennis, how about proving to us that you are just not “clouds and wind without rain?”
