Three engines from each of Gilroy’s three fire stations responded to a storage warehouse fire around 12:25 a.m. Thursday at Dynamic Auto Repair & Services on 7555 Railroad St., according to Jim Crawford, battalion chief for the South Santa Clara County Fire District and CalFire.
Crawford said a vehicle being stored inside the facility caught fire, but the commercial sprinkler alarm system was able to keep the flames to a minimum.
There was damage to one other vehicle but no human injuries, he said.
According to Crawford firefighters do not know what started the fire, however the City of Gilroy is investigating the incident.
