Dear Editor:
I just read Dyanne Hofstad’s letter in Monday’s paper. I was
very upset at the implication that these young adults are being
held because of color. I had no idea what color these young adults
were before I had an opinion on this case.

First, I think they should be in jail, they are lucky they are only in juvenile hall.
Second, how can Dyanne not see that no matter how wonderful you think a family is, you don’t really know anyone.
Third, Dyanne needs to think of all the families tied up in knots over worry because their kids were locked down in the school on that horrible day.
The three instigators of this crime were not stupid, they were cold and calculating. I think they new just what they were doing. This is not a prank. Toilet papering a house is a prank, not bringing a community to it’s knees in fear.
Also we are not Saratoga, we are the proud diverse town of Gilroy, CA and we are not going to put up with “pranks” like this no matter what the criminals skin color.
