GILROY – Candidates for the Gavilan College Board of Trustees will participate in a forum and debate session Thursday, Oct. 17, at 8:10 a.m. The meeting is open to the public and will be held in room S.S. 210 on the main campus.
Thursday’s session will be moderated by Student Trustee Jesse Sandow. The forum will give Gavilan College students, staff and the community a chance to learn about the candidates for the college board of trustees. The forum is sponsored by the Gavilan College Associated Student Body, in cooperation with Dr. Marc Turetsky.

Eight candidates are running for seats representing Gilroy, Morgan Hill and San Benito County. Deb Smith, an incumbent Gilroy trustee is running unopposed.
