Gabriela Quintero

Gabriela Quintero, the missing 1-year-old girl who was abducted at 6:43 a.m. today from outside her residence in San Jose, was found safe a little less than five hours after an Amber Alert was issued for her, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic woman. She is still on the loose.

Quintero was abducted in the family car, a 2006 Jeep Liberty with a California license plate, 6BWK440. She was located in that same car at 11:22 a.m. on the 400 block of Amargosa Court in San Jose, according to Gilroy Police Sgt. Jason Dwyer.
