Gilroy City Hall

The City of Gilroy is still looking to fill an open seat on the Arts and Culture Commission for the remainder of an unexpired term, which is set to end Dec. 31, 2015. The successful applicant will play a part in stimulating the growth of broad-based arts within the community. Along with the other six members of the Arts and Culture Commission, they will help guide the Recreation Department Staff and City Council on matters pertaining to cultural and artistic activities.

The City Council is scheduled to interview applicants and to make the appointment at 6 p.m. Monday, April 1 in the City Council Chambers located inside City Hall at 7351 Rosanna St. in Gilroy.

Anyone interested in applying for the vacant seat can grab an application in person at the City Clerk’s Office, which is in the Administration area at City Hall. Alternatively, applications can be found on the home page of the City’s website at www.cityofgilroy.org

Completed applications must be received no later than 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26.
