Beer and wine flowed as a constant stream of costumed attendees poured into downtown Gilroy Oct. 16 during Vines and Hops. Headed up by the Gilroy Downtown Business Association, the event featured nine wineries from throughout the Santa Clara Valley, with glasses being poured at 20 locations downtown. Attendees were also encouraged to dress up for Halloween, and they answered the call, from superheroes and TV commercial icons to traditional Dia de los Muertos attire.
