In support of Mr. Gonzalez’s letter to the editor published Thursday, I truly agree with his thoughts. Wal-Mart might be seen as a good American store up front, but in short terms, Wal-Mart will hurt the small business people in town, put them out of business, and sooner or later dominate their own pricing.
The consumer will be forced to pay higher prices for goods.
City Council, I urge you to reject their proposal to relocate and open a Super Wal-Mart in our town.
