DEAR EDITOR:
In response to James Fennel’s column – on March 23, you said

poor me?

Not

poor me,

poor Wal-Mart worker. I have a good job now, a union job. You
and all the people that support a Super Wal-Mart are saying it is
OK for Wal-Mart to break all the laws!
DEAR EDITOR:

In response to James Fennel’s column – on March 23, you said “poor me?” Not “poor me,” poor Wal-Mart worker. I have a good job now, a union job. You and all the people that support a Super Wal-Mart are saying it is OK for Wal-Mart to break all the laws! We have to go by the laws, why not Wal-Mart? And if Wal-Mart is so good, why all the lawsuits?

When I worked at Wal-Mart it was bad, but I had to work. If you think Wal-Mart is so good, why not work for Wal-Mart and see how bad it is. You don’t know Wal-Mart and the worker – but I do! If I write a book, you will be the first to get one. Wal-Mart said it will have 250 jobs, but at first Wal-Mart said 500 new jobs, so by the time Wal-Mart opens it will have no jobs for the people. Before you say how good Wal-Mart is, you look at all the lawsuits and talk to some of the workers and ex-workers – we all can’t be wrong!!

When I wrote a letter to the editor about Wal-Mart, he put half my letter, not all of it. Why? If you have something to say, you say it, but I have the right to say something, too, but all I say about Wal-Mart is the truth.

So Wal-Mart can break all the laws and you and the people that vote for Wal-Mart are saying that it is OK, true?

I guess money talks, that is why Super Wal-Mart is coming to Gilroy. Nobody cares about Wal-Mart workers or the families, Wal-Mart does not care. It cares about money only.
