DEAR EDITOR:

Recently, columnist Lisa Pampuch. asked us to consider the question: “What is not to love about homosexual marriage?” Well, Lisa, we do not “love” homosexual marriage because it is illegal. We do not “love” homosexual marriage because it is immoral. And, we do not “love” homosexual marriage because it is contrary to the laws of natural selection.

In March of 2000 California voters specifically considered the question of homosexual marriage. The result was a strong message to our leaders that we do not choose to sanction homosexual marriage in our state. Homosexual marriage is illegal.

Search the scriptures of any God acknowledging church, temple, or mosque, and you will find that heterosexual relationships are codified into the institution of marriage, while homo sexual relations, specifically, are condemned as contrary to the Law of God. Homosexual marriage is immoral.

And, finally, Lisa, consider the laws of natural selection. Homosexual marriage offers homosapiens no favorable evolutionary advantage.

Bearing in mind that the law of the land, the Law of God and the law of Natural Selection all identify homosexual marriage as objectionable, the relevant question is: “What IS to “love” about homosexual marriage?”
