was 91.
William C. Quast died Friday, Sept. 10, 2004, in San Jose. He was 91.
A native of San Francisco, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 33 years and was a member of the Letter Carriers Association, a Santa Clara County rancher for eight years and a member of the Dads Club of Old St. Mary’s Church of San Jose.
He is the loving father of Philip Quast, David Quast and wife Connie, Michael Quast and wife Becky, Daniel Quast and wife June, Patrick Quast and wife Joan, Timothy Quast and wife Linda, Terrence Quast and wife Jackie and the late Dennis Quast; the dear brother of the late Edward, Albert, Lester, Willie, Mildred, Rita and Elizabeth; grandfather of 18; and great-grandfather of eight.
Friends are invited to celebrate a funeral Mass at 11am Friday, Sept. 17, 2004, at St. John Vianney Church. A vigil service will be held at 7pm Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004, at the Darling-Fischer Garden Chapel 471 E. Santa Clara St., San Jose. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
