The Central branch of the YMCA of Santa Clara Valley will
sponsor a three-day Labor Day Handball Tournament beginning Friday,
September 3 at 4 pm and running through Saturday September 4,
Sunday September 5 and concluding on Monday September 6 at the
Central YMCA, 1717 The Alameda San Jose.
SAN JOSE – The Central branch of the YMCA of Santa Clara Valley will sponsor a three-day Labor Day Handball Tournament beginning Friday, September 3 at 4 pm and running through Saturday September 4, Sunday September 5 and concluding on Monday September 6 at the Central YMCA, 1717 The Alameda San Jose.
After a brief absence, the Handball Tournament has returned to the Central YMCA, an event they have hosted for 45 years, since 1959.
The Handball Tournament is free for juniors under the age of 17 compliments of the Del Grande Automobile Dealer Group of San Jose which will provide free gloves and balls to juniors.
Registration fees for adults range from $25, $45 and $65 depending upon the number of events entered. Fees include healthy snacks and some meals throughout the event days. Breakfast and a Saturday night banquet with BBQ lunch will be served Saturday and Sunday. In addition, free Handball Tournament T-shirts will be given to all participants.
Registration deadline is Friday, August 27. The fee for one event is $45; for two events the fee is $60; collegiate level is $25 and juniors under age 17 free; banquet is $10. Make checks payable to Central YMCA and mail to Huntington Learning Center 7335 Bollinger Road, Suite A Cupertino, CA 95014.
