19-year-old Morgan Hill resident Timothy Bouchette was arrested
on suspicion of drunken driving Wednesday

Gilroy – Morgan Hill resident, Timothy Bouchette, 19, was arrested for driving under the influence, after his vehicle overturned on U.S. 101 early Wednesday morning.

Bouchette and two Morgan Hill friends were coming home from Santa Cruz at 2am on northbound U.S. 101, when the Toyota RAV4 he was driving drifted off the east shoulder, overturned and came to a rest at the westbound onramp to Leavesley Road.

Nicholas Bongiorno, 20 – who was not wearing a seat belt – was ejected from the vehicle and suffered major injuries. He was taken to Regional Medical Center of San Jose where he was listed in fair condition Wednesday, according to hospital spokeswoman, Meisha Hardy. The other passenger, Chris Smith, 20, suffered no injuries. Both Bouchette and Smith were wearing seat belts.

Bouchette was uninjured and was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
