Elva A. Graves passed away at the age of 97.
Elva A. Graves passed away at the age of 97. Mrs. Graves was a native of Salinas, who graduated from San Jose State University and taught school for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kendall J. Graves and her sister, Edna Oertly. She was a faithful member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church and the P.E.O. Sisterhood. She leaves two children, Patricia Johansen and Evatt Graves, three grandchildren, Kirsten Johansen Beffa, Geoffrey Graves and Timothy Graves.
Graveside Service will be held Saturday, Feb. 22 at 11 a.m. at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, Gilroy.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the organization of your choice.
