election forum in the City Council Chambers. It will also be
televised on Channel 17.

Tonight the Gilroy Branch of the American Association of University Women and the Gilroy Chamber of Commerce will co-host an election forum in the City Council Chambers. It will also be televised on Channel 17.
From 7 to 8:45 p.m. you will have an opportunity to hear from the Council candidates: Peter Arellano, Paul Correa, Raymond Morasco, Roland Velasco, Dion Bracco, Mark Dover, and Russ Valiquette. Immediately following a 15-minute break, the mayoral candidates, Guadalupe Arellano, Ellyn Atkins, Mary Hohenbrink, and Al Pinheiro will continue the forum at 9 p.m.
I encourage the community to take the time to view or attend this election forum, ask questions, get to know the candidates, and most importantly, cast a vote on Nov. 4. Not everyone will agree on every position; however, each and every one of these candidates are a part of your community and have made a commitment to serve.
The Gilroy Chamber applauds the City Council and mayoral candidates and appreciates their time and consideration in this election process.
