GILROY – Victory Outreach clinched a tie for the second-half Men’s DDD League title with a 20-3 decision over the Covenant Builders Sunday at Las Animas Park.

Matt Cauflin stroked a home run, double and single to lead Victory Outreach to a 5-0 mark with one game to play in the regular season.

Rudy Tellez lined two singles in the first inning as Victory Outreach struck for 10 runs. Joel Vaca hit a solo homer in a six-run third frame. Jose Villarreal paced the Builders with a single and triple.

Jay Jones socked a triple and two singles as 4-1 No Soup 4 You defeated the Plunderers 14-5. Jason Luna added three singles and scored three runs. Kurt Maltman went 3-for-4 and drove in two runs for the Plunderers.

Frank Crue went 4-for-4 and scored four runs to lead the Chippendales to a 17-1 verdict over Bay Sheets. Omar Rodriguez homered and Sebastian Cabrera went 3-for-5 for the winners. Serf Mancera went 2-for-3 for Bay Sheets.

Little Pizzarena climbed into a tie for first place with Obata Farms at 3-1 Friday in Men’s BB League play with a 22-15 nod over the Farmers at Las Animas.

Justin Ventura went 4-for-4 and scored three Little Pizzarena runs. Robert Silvia belted two homers, Bob Reid one homer in a four-hit effort for Obata Farms.

Ed Gamboa homered and Sean Subia drove in three runs as Interstate Fence topped the Playaz 11-7. Paul Garcia went 3-for-4 and Louis Catano plated two runs for the Playaz.

The Krazy Koyotes moved to 4-0 in the Co-Rec B League second half with a 15-11 victory over Feather Haven Mill Sunday at Las Animas. Bobby Garcia went 6-for-6 with a homer, Terrance Blackman scored four runs and Santos Garcia went 3-for-5 for the winners. Chris Ferguson went 4-for-4, Dave DeCarlo 3-for-3 for Feather Haven Mill.

Machinist Cooperative maintained a one-game lead in the Men’s DD League with victories Thursday and Friday. Chris Summers went 4-for-4 and Greg Lucio Jr. went 3-for-3 in a 10-6 Machinist win over Team HJ-FX Thursday at Gavilan Sports Park. Machinist added a 12-single attack Friday in an 8-2 victory over Me & Julio. Gosta Brolin drove in two Machinist runs. John Serrine went 2-for-4 and scored both Julio runs.

Paul Musquez homered and David Martinez went 3-for-3 as Family Affair defeated Dan Keith Septics 17-6 Thursday. Family Affair stopped JR Brewski’s 19-3 Friday to move to 3-1. Manuel Gonzales homered in a 3-for-4 showing for the Affair. Mike Keith went 2-for-2 for the Brew Crew.
