Gilroy Parlor No. 312 celebrated its 50th anniversary March 15 with
a social and a luncheon.
GILROY – Gilroy Hilton Garden Inn Native Daughters of Golden West Gilroy Parlor No. 312 celebrated its 50th anniversary March 15 with a social and a luncheon.

Grand President Margaret Mallette Gold of Ophir Parlor No. 190 Orroville, Calif., presented a 75-year pin to Susie Engfer of Parlor No. 100 of San Jose; 50-year pins to Evely Della Santa, Eva Holback, Eleanor Bottil, Emily Burkhart, Margaret Mercer; and 25-year pins to Lucille Soneza, Irene Vosti and all members of Gilroy Parlor No. 312.

Past Grand President Marie Landini organized the Gilroy Parlor in 1953. Past Grand President delores Ferenze was grand president at the group’s silver anniversary.

Guest speaker Elizabeth Barrett spoke about the history of Gilroy and her family. Entertainment was brought by San Jose Parlor No. 81, serving sisters of early 40s.
