Norman Griffin, of Hollister, passed away on April 19, 2003. He was 54.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, DaNita Griffin of Hollister; daughters Melodie Griffin and Janeene Griffin, both of Hollister; sons Neil Griffin of Macon, Ga., and Paul Griffin of Macon; grandfather of four; brothers William Griffin of Ogden, Utah, Ben Griffin of Gilroy and Allan Griffin of Hollister. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Griffin is preceded in death by his parents Reese Albert and Zena (Graser) Griffin.
Griffin was born in Santa Ana and moved to Helendale in 1953 before moving to Hollister in 1960. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday. Viewing will begin Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Hollister with the Funeral Service beginning at 11 a.m. at the church. Arrangements by Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. The final resting place will be in Archer, Idaho.
Donations may be made to the Stanford Medical Center Liver Transplant Center in memory of Norman Griffin.
