â– No. Real estate prices are 10 years ago. Great for buyers, terrible
for sellers, especially since there aren’t that many buyers in this slow market. Cost of living still escalating way beyond the average person’s wage.
â– Yes. Stimulus money, despite what idealogues contend, have helped businesses here in Gilroy to save jobs that otherwise would have been lost. Indicators show an uptick in hiring practices at small to medium sized businesses.
â– Yes, but not much. People are still losing their homes and getting laid off.
â– NO. Regardless of what Obama says, the general consensus is that things will be worst in 2010.
â– The same, not sinking, not swimming, just treading!
â– Yes, I do feel better about the economy.

■No. I believe this year will be worse than the previous with a real recovery starting in 2011 – sorry!
â– NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! January looked like a little upswing and forecasts seemed optimistic. But things haven’t changed and I think we are still slipping in a negative direction. I remain positive on an upswing late summer.
