When four old buddies from high school get together 40 years later for weddings and other emergency, there is happy chaos and laughs with almost every line in this delightful 51st Pintello’s Comedy Theatre offering.
Rod Pintello directed six talented ladies with a delicate hand. Taunya Barrera, Anne Grennan, Maureen Haney, April Ouellette, Barbara Smith and Ruth E. Stein gave their all to the roles.
The 21 dresses (count them) by Chelly Gilmore steal the show and bring hysterical memories to anyone who has worn a bridesmaid gown or helped a bride put one on.
The neat set with props by Doris Dorn and Stein gives just the right feeling for the moment.
Simon Pintello in the Tech Booth and Gary Gilmore as the Technical Coordinator hit every cue. No production goes anywhere without them.
The Grange Hall in Gilroy is close by and is well worth a trip for an entertaining evening,
Be alerted – Pintello’s New Year Bash (production) “Skin Flick” (an adult only comedy) is available for reservations and sells out fast. Champagne, hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine and dessert are included with the DJ dancing festivities.
The Pintello Comedy Theatre is a family affair with the family participating in just about every aspect of the production. Four productions a year are offered with love and affection.
An evening with the Pintello’s Comedy Theatre is relaxing and fun with wine available throughout the evening. If you have not participated in one of their productions you’re missing a great instance for an amusing evening. The audience and the cast seem to have as much pleasure with one another to make this a love fest. So go, enjoy and relax. Where can you get a better offer so close to home?
