Registration for Gilroy Rec youth soccer, adult volleyball, dodgeball and softball open

Registration for several of the City of Gilroy Recreation Department’s spring programs is now open. 
Youth soccer
Interested athletes ages 4 to 13 are invited to register for the City’s Youth Spring Soccer League. The season kicks off March 21 at Christmas Hill Park’s Ranch Site. 
The league costs $85—$90 for non-residents—for the eight-game season. Applications for volunteer coaches are also being accepted. 
Registration closes Feb. 13. Visit the Rec Department at 7351 Rosanna Street to join.
Adult dodgeball
Team registration for the City’s adult dodgeball league is now being accepted. 
The co-rec program features an eight-night schedule and costs $235 per team. 
Dodgeball games are played Thursday nights at the Wheeler Gym. Interested teams must register by Jan. 23. 
Adult volleyball
Registration is now open for the City’s co-rec volleyball program.
A fee of $275 is required for teams to register for the eight-game season. Registration closes Feb. 12. 
Games are played Sunday nights in Christopher High’s Auxiliary Gym.
Adult softball
Registration for men’s, women’s and co-rec slowpitch softball teams is being accepted.
Teams must register by March 30 to compete in the 12-game season. The cost is $495 per team.
