GILROY—Unladylike rolled past Just 4 Fun 17-5 May 13 at Las Animas Veterans Park to improve to 4-0 in women’s softball league action.
Patricia Martinez homered and Michelle Pierson went 4 for 4 for the league leader. Kim Lychek doubled and singled for Just 4 Fun.
Dirty Diamonds defeated Pops’ Gals 16-5 as Jaime Hall stroked two home runs, a triple and single.
Annette Ceballos and Shante Mancera each managed two hits and scored three runs for the Dirty Diamonds. Shawna Snakenburg went 2 for 2 and scored two runs for Pops’ Gals. Alicia Reese homered and scored two runs for Pops’ Gals.
Wednesday E
The HD Auto Glass Players made it 4-0 for the spring-summer season by edging Bang a Pitch 5-4 at Christmas Hill Park.
Greg Lucio made the difference for the Players. Lucio doubled and scored on a Jose Vasquez single in the first, hit a two-run home run in the third and singled and scored the tie-breaking run on a Danny Granados two-out triple in the sixth.
Joe Ojeda added to the Player offense by scoring two runs. Chris Del Real went 3 for 3 and Nick Lopez provided a double and a sacrifice fly for Bang a Pitch.
Cold Pop scrambled for eight runs in the bottom of the seventh inning before falling to Feather Haven 17-16.
Gus Lazrovich and Jeff Peterson each collected two hits in the Cold Pop rally. Reggie Stanley homered for Cold Pop. Shawn Beale went 4 for 4 and scored five runs for Feather Haven. Justin McPherson went 4 for 4 and plated five runs for the winners.
Thursday E
Golden State Bail Bonds scored six runs in the seventh inning to lock up a 16-5 win over Trevino Brothers Construction in a battle of unbeaten clubs at Christmas Hill.
Danny Rubalcaba was a triple threat, homering in a 3 for 3, three-run performance for the 3-0 Bondsmen. Rob Silvia tripled and singled for Trevino Brothers (2-1). Pascual Cid added a sacrifice fly and two singles.
R&M Transport topped Sons of Pitches 16-1 as Matt Carroll homered and Steve Lemberger clubbed three extra-base hits. Tom Buich tripled and scored the Pitches run.
Joaquin Chacon stroked three hits and Richard Luna scored three runs to pace No Soup 4 You by Anritsu 10-6. Ponch Flores and Ben Hartshorn each singled and doubled for Anritsu.
Thursday EE
Claddagh moved to 3-0 with a 21-12 verdict over Ninja Sushi at Las Animas.
Matt Jimenez hit a home run and two singles for Claddagh. Albert Vegas went 4 for 4 for Ninja Sushi.
Rudy Maquinalez pulled a homer, triple and single to lift the Assassins past VFW Bingo 21-1. Daniel Caspary and Julio Zavala combined singles to account for the Bingo run.
New Hope Community Church defeated Gilroy Thunder 22-6 as Jerry Numeyer poked a homer and two singles. Carlos Gutierrez homered for the Thunder.
Friday EE
Old City Hall Restaurant struck for four runs in the final inning to trim Humboldt Brewing 23-20 and remain in a tie for first place in the four-team league.
Marcus Medina went 5 for 5 with a home run for the winners. Gabe Ponce and JR Hernandez each collected four Restaurant hits. Tyler Price and Marc Delgado each registered two hits in the Humboldt 11-run first inning.
Neo Torres hit a lead-off homer and Tito Flores added a two-run shot as Under Construction defeated Gil’s Warriors 20-3. Rob Silvia homered for Gil’s club.
Monday Co-Rec
Last Minute joined the Swingers at 4-1 atop the standings by outlasting State Farm 16-12.
Giovana Martin keyed the Last Minute offense with a double and two singles. Ernestine Carrillo and Louie Catano each powered three hits for State Farm.
