I had the privilege of organizing the reception for Lance Cpl. Jeramy A. Ailes. What an honor to be asked to help out such an awesome family.
Joel relayed to me that about 500 people would be at the reception. I was thinking WOW … what a job. How can I possibly get enough food and drinks for all those people? EASY. Everyone I asked said yes. It made me feel so good inside to live in such a loving and caring community. I would like to thank all the friends of the Ailes who helped with food, drinks, setting up and cleaning up. I would like to thank Gilroy Presbyterian Church for the use of their facility, and lastly all the businesses that donated so effortlessly. Thank you Dutchman’s, Pinocchio’s Pizza, Mama Mia’s, Victoria’s, It’s A Grind, Safeway, Nob Hill, Longs and Chevy’s.
