MORGAN HILL – A second summit meeting of South Valley agencies interested in the effects of Coyote Valley development is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. The public is welcome.

Retired Community Development Director David Bischoff, consulting for the city on what San Jose’s Coyote Valley Specific Plan Task Force plans for the 7,000 acres just north of Morgan Hill, will give a report on the latest happenings.

Led by the Morgan Hill City Council, the group also includes representatives from the City of Gilroy, Morgan Hill School District, Gavilan College, the San Martin Neighborhood Association and the Open Space Authority.

County Supervisor Don Gage and Russ Danielson, a former school board trustee and Morgan Hill business owner, are both on the San Jose CVSPTF, the chief planning entity for valley development. Both attended the first South Valley summit meeting in May.

The South Valley Task Force will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Hiram Morgan Hill Room of the Community Center, 17000 Monterey Road at East Dunne Avenue. Details: www.morganhill.ca.gov or 779-7271.
