Dear Editor,
Although you chose not to endorse Bob Kraemer for Gilroy School
Board, it is my strong belief that he is one of the top choice
candidates. He is a respected, dedicated, committed leader who
brings global business vision to the Board. He has high integrity
and is transparently honest at all times except when the potential
for liability to the organization he is serving prohibits him from
disclosing information.
Dear Editor,
Although you chose not to endorse Bob Kraemer for Gilroy School Board, it is my strong belief that he is one of the top choice candidates. He is a respected, dedicated, committed leader who brings global business vision to the Board. He has high integrity and is transparently honest at all times except when the potential for liability to the organization he is serving prohibits him from disclosing information.
The recent incident regarding Ms. Porter, the teacher who was released from her position with the School District, is a good example. Even the Brown Act, which expects open disclosure to the public when public funds are used to support an organization, respects privacy and confidentiality regarding personnel and litigation issues. Only after Ms. Porter signed a waiver of her confidentiality rights did the school district provide full disclosure regarding her settlement.
Bob Kraemer was legally bound not to disclose this information without signed releases from Ms. Porter, her Union and attorneys involved. He should not be punished or faulted for following proper and legal procedure.
He does have the endorsement of many local leaders who admire his strong, fair leadership, his fiscal accountability, the serious nature of his actions regarding legal responsibility, his vast experience in many aspects of the community, his loyalty to Gilroy, his dedication to ALL Gilroy students, his planning skills, his dependability, his knowledge of the Educational System his excellent communication skills and his desire to continue being involved in reaching the goals of the district.
I ask the voting citizens of Gilroy to join me in casting your vote for Bob Kraemer on Nov. 2.
Eleanor Villarreal, Gilro
