The Gilroy Police Department made arrests for a variety of crimes this past week, including possession of methamphetamine for sale, robbery, unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and assault with a deadly weapon. Arrests were recorded in the GPD blotter between July 31 and Aug. 6.
Assault with a deadly weapon
-Domingo Ramirez, 42, Aug. 4 at 5:50 p.m. on the 7200 block of Dowdy Street for one felony charge.
Driving under the influence
-Jason Cooper, 34, July 31 at 9:15 p.m. near the intersection of Church and Seventh streets for one misdemeanor charge and vandalism.
Passing a forged document or check
-Marissa Garcia, 31, Aug. 3 at 12:33 a.m. near the intersection of Eigleberry and First streets for two felony charges.
Possession of meth for sale
-Nelson Trinidad, 32, Aug. 2 at 1:39 a.m. near the intersection of Eigleberry and First streets for one felony charge and resisting, delaying or obstructing a police officer.
Robbery
-Alejandro Becerra, 28, Aug. 2 at 12:56 p.m. near the intersection of Hanna Street and Mantelli Drive for one felony charge and felony threats to commit a crime resulting in death.
Sex crimes against a minor
-Steven Borquez, 28, Aug. 1 at 2:09 p.m. at the Gilroy Police station for two outstanding felony warrants: lewd or lascivious acts on a child and unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.
-Margarito Corona, 80, Aug. 2 at 4:37 p.m. on the 9300 block of Monterey Street for a felony charge of lewd or lascivious acts on a child.
Multiple charges
-Crystal Villareal, 30, July 31 at 9:19 p.m. on the 7200 block of Church Street for two charges of possession of a controlled substance, petty theft and driving with privileges suspended or revoked.
-Javier Salinas Calderon, Aug. 1 at 9:25 p.m. on the 7400 block of Dowdy Street for possession of marijuana in a vehicle and being under the influence of alcohol, drugs or a controlled substance.
-Moises Torres, 29, Aug. 3 at 6:39 p.m. on the 7000 block of Miller Avenue for four outstanding warrants: driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher, two for failure to appear and driving with a suspended license as well as felony processing as a violator for revocation.
-Dawn Wormuth, 54, Aug. 5 at 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of Monterey and Fifth streets for felony possession of a narcotic controlled substance, theft of personal property and unlawful possession of paraphernalia.

-Robert Carrillo, 27, Aug. 1 at 7:03 a.m. on the 7200 block of Eigleberry Street for one felony charge and resisting, delaying or obstructing a police officer.
-Emiliano Vargas, 34, Aug. 4 at 1:58 a.m. on the 7800 block of Carmel Street for one felony charge.
Resisting, delaying or obstructing a police officer
-Christopher Hill, 31, Aug. 1 at 3:09 p.m. near the intersection of Princevalle and 10th street for one misdemeanor charge.
Theft
-Crystal Cavazos, 31, July 31 at 5:25 p.m. near the intersection of Monterey and 10th streets for petty theft.
-Daniel Juarez, 23, Aug. 5 at 2:16 p.m. on the 600 block of Holloway Drive for an outstanding warrant for theft of personal property.
-Angel Estorga, 22, Aug. 5 at 11:18 p.m. near the intersection of Hanna Street and Arnold Drive for petty theft of personal property and appropriation of lost property.
Parole violation
-Fernando Minero, 26, Aug. 3 at 6:39 p.m. on the 7000 block of Miller Avenue for re-arrest on a parole violation for revocation.
Possession of a syringe
-Johnny Del Rio, 59, July 31 at 4:20 p.m. on the 6900 block of Monterey Street for one misdemeanor charge.
Driving violations
-Christian Padilla, 30, Aug. 2 at 11:15 a.m. at the Gilroy Police station for two charges of driving with privileges suspended or revoked, expired registration and failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility.
Drinking in public
-Gregorio Rodriguez, 51, July 31 at 4 p.m. on the 6900 block of Monterey Street for one misdemeanor charge.
-Luis Gonzalez, 34, Aug. 5 at 1:40 p.m. on the 6900 block of Monterey Street for one misdemeanor charge.
-Enrique Soliz Orozco, 81, Aug. 5 at 1:40 p.m. on the 6900 block of Monterey Street.
Illegal lodging
-Richard Auston, 48, Aug. 6 at 11:15 a.m. on the 7800 block of Carmel street for lodging without the consent of the property owner (disorderly conduct).
Trespassing
-Tauras Pruitt, 29, Aug. 3 at 4:52 p.m. on the 200 block of First Street for two misdemeanor charges for trespassing and felony re-arrest for a probation violation.
Under the influence of alcohol, drugs or a controlled substance
-Valeria Herrera, 23, Aug. 1 at 2:53 a.m. on the 300 block of Lewis Avenue for one misdemeanor charge.
-Barry Meyer, 45, Aug. 1 at 6:46 p.m. near the intersection of First Street and Wayland Lane.
-Patrick Goold, 32, Aug. 2 at 12:55 a.m. on the 7400 block of Rosanna Street.
