The fourth and final Budweiser Fight Night at the Tank pro
boxing event will take place Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m.
SAN JOSE – The fourth and final Budweiser Fight Night at the Tank pro boxing event will take place Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m. inside the HP Pavilion at San Jose.
Headlining the card is undefeated lightweight “Mighty” Mike Anchondo of Los Angeles, who will take on Isidro Tejedor, of Miami, Florida, in a 10-round bout. While Anchondo sports an 18-0 record with 15 knockouts, Tejedor maintains a 15-10-4 record with eight knockouts.
The semi-featured bout will feature undefeated middleweight Ricardo Cortez of San Jose, who will take on opponent Charles Lucas in a six-round bout. While Cortez holds a 6-0-1 record with five knockouts, Lucas is 3-1 with two knockouts.
“The November 21 Budweiser Fight Night at The Tank card promises to be a great night of boxing,” said Roy Englebrecht, CEO of Golden Boy Promotions. “With two electrifying boxers like ‘Mighty’ Mike Anchondo and Ricardo Cortez on the card, it will be a great way to close out our inaugural season.”
Also on the Nov. 21 card is a six-round middleweight match-up between Sergio Mora (6-0-0, 2 KOs), of Los Angeles and Richard Gonzalez(7-6-2, 3 KOs) as well as a four-round women’s lightweight bout between Juli Crockett (3-0, 2 KOs) and Deborah Fettekether (4-2-2, 2 KOs).
In addition, heavyweight Manuel Quesada (6-1-0, 4 KOs) will take on Sean Johnson (4-2, 1 KO) in a four-round heavyweight bout.
Individual tickets to Budweiser Fight Night at the Tank are $85, $65, $45, $35, $25 and $20 and are on sale now.
