GILROY – Mario Gallardo powered two home runs in a 4-for-4 performance as the Gilroy Foods Spicers defeated Radiator Doctor 12-10 Tuesday in the Co-Rec C League opener at Las Animas Park.

Lazaro Garza provided three doubles and Berto San Ramon added two doubles to the Spicers offense. John Ceballos went 3-for-3 and scored twice for Radiator Doctor.

Brian Moreno hit for the cycle to propel Chosen Ones past Just For Fun 18-8. Jose Villarreno and John Day posted three hits apiece for Chosen Ones. Sally Hernandez went 2-for-2 for Just For Fun.

Mark Terrill launched three extra-base hits to lead Bike Center-Data Mate to a 12-6 victory over Dan Smith Plastering Tomcats Tuesday at Gavilan Sports Park in the Men’s B League opener.

Leroy Dozal and Steve Borgna each added a 2-run home run to the Bike Center-Data Mate offense. Michael Segovia and Danny Pequeno each went 3-for-3 for the Tomcats, with Dennis Castro driving in 3 runs, including a homer.

The Gaeta’s Taqueria-Talamo Foods game was postponed due to rain.

The Women’s B League Tuesday doubleheader at Christmas Hill Park was postponed due to rain.
