Thomas L. Maloney, 87 of Gilroy. Tom was born in Syracuse, Missouri on October 21, 1921 and passed away October 20, 2008. He was a WWII veteran serving in the European theater and later was in the California National Guard.
Tom was an educator for 35 years, including 15 as principal of Gilroy High School. He spent the last few years as a docent at Gilroy Gardens. He was the beloved husband of Ann Maloney for 62 years. He is also survived by his children, Susan (and Craig) Clark, Nancy Becker, Martin (and Ginger) Maloney, 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. At his request, services will be private.
