Steven Michael Andersen was born at Santa Teresa Hospital in San Jose,CA and passed away in Phoenix, AZ.
Steven was raised in Gilroy, CA and graduated from Monte Vista Christian School in Watsonville, CA in 2002. He was a member of the California Scholastic Federation and an AP scholar. He participated in wrestling and football.
His hobby was playing the guitar.
Steven graduated from Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences at the University of North Dakota, Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautics in 2007.
He was a flight instructor for the Westwind School of Aeronautics in Phoenix , AZ.
Steven is survived by his mother and step-father, Patti and Roger Nesbit of Buckeye, AZ, his father and step-mother, Michael and Kimberly Andersen of Amelia Island, FL, his brother, Jason McHam of San Jose, CA, Uncle Dennis Andersen of Sacramento, CA, Uncle Jerry McHam of Upland, CA, Aunt Pam McHam of Hollister, CA, cousin Erin Livingston of Hollister, CA, cousin Shannon Mingo of Laguna Nigel, CA and his many friends in Gilroy, CA, Phoenix, AZ and Grand Forks, North Dakota,
The family will hold a private service.
