An early morning fire just south of San Martin destroyed two trailers inside a barn Friday, causing approximately $100,000 worth of damage, according to CalFire.

Fire crews were called to the blaze on Harding Avenue shortly after 4 a.m., said CalFire Battalion Chief Rob Van Wormer.

Van Wormer said the trailers and the barn were “a total loss,” but there were no injuries.

“Both trailers were unoccupied at the time of the fire,” he said.

Van Wormer said the fire also caused some minor damage to a nearby building and surrounding vegetation. He said the cause of the fire was under investigation.
