Students of St. Mary School in Gilroy are supporting St. Joseph’s Family Center in Gilroy this holiday season through a toy drive for local families that the non-profit group assists.
Eighth graders are delivered 600 toys to St. Joseph’s Family Center in December. This is the second year that St. Mary School has chosen to collect toys to help brighten Christmas for Gilroy children served through St. Joseph’s Family Center for the school’s Advent project.
St. Mary School wouldl like to thank Kaiser Permanente in Gilroy and San Jose, Baskin Robbins in Gilroy, Nob Hill Foods in Gilroy, Gilroy Golf Course, and the Gilroy Police Department for their help in collecting toys.
In keeping with the school’s theme this year, St. Mary School students continue to “Be the Change” through serving their local community.
