Morgan Hill Fire Department

Fire crews responded to two burning greenhouses in north unincorporated Morgan Hill Tuesday morning, according to authorities.

Crews from the Morgan Hill Fire Department and the South Santa Clara County Fire District responded to the blaze on the zero block of Scheller Avenue, near the intersection of Dougherty Avenue, about 9:15 a.m., according to Battalion Chief Jim Crawford.

When firefighters arrived they found the roofs of two greenhouses on fire, Crawford said.

The fire was contained shortly after crews arrived, and no injuries were reported, according to Crawford. The cause of the fire will be under investigation after the blaze is extinguished.
