The Gilroy Police Department made dozens of arrests this past week. Some of the offenses included possession of a concealed firearm by a convicted felon, possession of methamphetamine for sale, vandalism, DUI and false impersonation. Here is the police blotter from Sept. 25 through Oct. 2.
Battery/spousal abuse
-Victor Torres, 34, September 26 at 12:10 p.m. on the 400 block of Fairview Drive for battery and battery against a spouse or cohabitant.
-Karin Prince, 47, September 26 at 9:39 p.m. on the 1500 block of Quail Walk Drive for felony infliction of bodily injury on spouse or cohabitant.
-Mark Sotelo, 22, September 27 at 12:19 p.m. on the 7300 block of Hanna Street for battery against spouse or cohabitant.
-John Camacho, 35, September 29 at 3:50 p.m. near the intersection of East Las Animas and San Ysidro Avenues for felony infliction of bodily injury on a spouse or cohabitant and battery.
Possession
-Samantha Coleman, 26, September 29 at 1:05 a.m. on the 6100 block of Monterey Road for one felony count and one misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance.
-Isaac Rodriguez, 20, September 29 at 2:12 a.m. near the intersection of Seventh and Monterey Streets for two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
-Lois Grubbs, 55, October 2 at 8:20 p.m. near the intersection of Connell Court and Las Animas Street for two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Theft
-Matthew Wilcox, 19, September 25 at 1 p.m. on the 7300 block of Hanna Street for petty theft of personal property.
-Tiffany Prado, 21, September 29 at 1:25 a.m. near the intersection of Seventh Street and Monterey Drive for theft.
-Nathan Tomasini, 38, September 29 at 9:45 a.m. on the 7100 block of Camino Arroyo for petty theft.
Multiple charges
-Annalicia Lara, 28, September 25 at 2:45 p.m. on the 7300 block of Hanna Street for driving with suspended privileges and not wearing a seat belt.
-Jesse Santos, 35, September 26 at 12:31 p.m. on the 8100 block of Murray Avenue for resisting, delaying or obstructing an officer, felony possession for sale, failing to provide insurance and two charges of driving with a suspended license.
-Sergio Deltoro, 29, September 27 at 3:16 a.m. on the 7400 block of Monterey street for being under the influence of alcohol/drugs/controlled substance, driving with a blood alcohol level of .01 while on probation, DUI, driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher, driving with suspended privileges and driving with a suspended license.
-Hilario Rodriguez, 27, September 27 at 3:28 a.m. on the 600 block of East Seventh street for felony threats to commit crime resulting in injury and felony infliction of bodily injury on spouse or cohabitant.
-Albert Juarez, 41, September 27 at 4:05 p.m. near the intersection of West Seventh and Church streets for felony parole violation, felony threats to commit crime resulting in injury and felony infliction of bodily injury on spouse or cohabitant.
-Luiz Corona, 22, September 22 at 11:47 p.m. near the intersection of Longmeadow Drive and Santa Teresa Boulevard for battery on former spouse or fiancé and felony vandalism causing damage exceeding $50,000.
-Steven Perez, 39, September 28 at 12:50 a.m. near the intersection of Miller Avenue and Fourth Street for carrying a loaded firearm and DUI.
-Ignacia Robles, 50, September 28 at 12:20 p.m. near the intersection of Alexander and Old Gilroy Streets for felony possession of a narcotic controlled substance, representing a false identity to police officers and possession of a controlled substance.
-Mitchell Garibaldi, 20, September 28 at 3:05 a.m. on the 7100 block of Camino Arroyo for two felony counts of rearrest for probation violation, felony assault with a deadly weapon, DUI, felony driving in willful disregard for safety, felony theft or unauthorized use of a vehicle, two counts of violation of a protective order and felony failure to appear.
-Jorge Navarro, 29, September 29 at 2:30 a.m. on the 700 block of El Cerrito Drive for vandalism with damage between $5,000 and $50,000 and battery on a former spouse or fiancé.
-Prisma Negrete, 25, October 1 at 6:35 p.m. near the intersection of Wren Avenue and First Street for felony rearrest for probation violation and two counts, one a felony, of possession of a controlled substance.
-Mark Oliveira, 36, October 1 at 6:45 p.m. on the 7300 block of Maple Street for felony possession of methamphetamine for sale, felony procession as a violator for revocation and felony defendant released on bail.
-Gary Galindo, 32, October 2 at 8:40 p.m. near the intersection of Third and Monterey streets for felony theft or unauthorized use of a vehicle, possession of stolen property and felony burglary in the first degree.
-Marcus Trujillo, 28, October 2 at 8:50 p.m. near the intersection of Monterey and Fourth streets for a felony count of owning or possession ammunition as a prohibited person, felony carrying of a loaded firearm, felony carrying of concealed weapon, felony possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, driving while unlicensed, hit and run, felony possession of stolen property, felony burglary in the first degree, felony driving in willful disregard for safety, felony theft or unauthorized use of a vehicle and a felony parole hold.
-Richard Castaneda, 26, October 2 at 9:17 p.m. near the intersection of Eighth and Princevalle streets for felony infliction of bodily injury on spouse or cohabitant, felony corporal injury, felony threats to commit crime resulting in injury, battery against spouse or cohabitant and resisting arrest.
Under the influence
-Rosendo Martinez, 55, September 25 at 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Swanston Lane and Casey Street for being under the influence of alcohol/drugs/controlled substance.
-Jennifer Kovacs, 27, September 27 at 12:20 a.m. on the 2000 block of Hollyhock Lane for being under the influence of alcohol/drugs/controlled substance.
-Marlene Bolla, 63, September 27 at 9:42 p.m. near the intersection of Miller Avenue and Fifth Street for DUI and driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher.
-Tyler Costa, 21, September 29 at 3:30 a.m. on the 6700 block of Monterey Road for being an unlicensed driver, DUI and driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher.
-Felipe Inocencio, 25, October 2 at 4:45 a.m. near the intersection of Camino Arroyo and Sixth Street for driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher.
Vandalism
-Carlos Jaimez, 36, September 26 at 10:10 a.m. on the 7300 block of Hanna Street for vandalism causing less than $400 in damage.
Fleeing/resisting arrest
-Morgan Harris, 22, September 26 at 12:24 p.m. on the 8200 block of Kern Avenue for a felony charge of being a fugitive from justice.
-Steve Garibay, 19, September 28 at 11:17 p.m. near the intersection of First and Monterey Streets for resisting, delaying or obstructing a police officer.
Violation of protective order
-Richard Castaneda, 26, September 27 at 4:13 p.m. near the intersection of Garden Court and Eleventh Street for violation of a protective order.
False impersonation
-Vincent Aguilar, 22, September 27 at 11:39 p.m. on the 5900 block of Monterey Street for felony false impersonation exposing a victim to liability.
Weapon possession
-Trinidad Rodriguez, 19, October 1 at 6:23 p.m. on the 500 block of Fairview Drive for felony possession of a dirk or dagger.
