Harry and Laurie Sontag, from Gilroy, sample the tomatoes and find the perfect bunch at the Resendiz Farms booth at Farmers Market Saturday.

Sobrato High School students will host a tomato plant sale at the Britton Middle School tennis courts Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The school is located at 80 W. Central Ave. 

Students will be selling young plants they grew from seed, which will be ideal for local gardeners to start their summertime tomato gardens, according to SHS teacher Sue Villanueva.
