Volleyball: Salcedo, CHS boys sweep Gonzales

Manny Salcedo had six kills to lead Christopher High’s boys volleyball team to a 25-3, 25-16, 25-15 sweep of visiting Gonzales on Tuesday.

John Day had five kills for the Cougars, who improved to 13-9 overall and 8-3 in the Monterey Bay League. Teammates Justin Laveroni, Marcus Torres and Phillip Castro added three kills each.
