Police Blotter: Recent arrests made in Gilroy and Morgan Hill

Two female suspects were seen walking out of the Coach store on
Arroyo Circle with four purses and a passport cover, total value of
$1,814, . The manager chased down the suspects who jumped into a
waiting vehicle and fled. The manager took the purses away from the
suspects including one of the suspect’s own purses. Inside the
purse, the manager found the suspect’s identification card and
positively identified the suspect waiting in the vehicle.
Grand theft

Stolen vehicle

A thief or thieves stole a 2007 gray Yamasaki Motorcycle from a carport in an apartment complex on Monte Bello Drive between midnight Thursday and 7:10 a.m. Friday.

Found property

An unidentified person found a gray Airmag BB gun on Hanna Street, 12:36 p.m. Friday.

An unidentified person found a $25 Eyore ladies watch on Hanna Street, 2:46 p.m. Friday.

A female juvenile gave a black wallet with license, passport and debit card to a GFD paramedic on Third Street, 2 p.m. Friday.

An unidentified person turned in a brown purse and Wells Fargo check book to a business on First Street, 11:31 p.m. Sunday.

Auto burglary

A thief or thieves stole tires and rims valued at $1,000 and a stereo valued at $100 from a vehicle on Westwood Drive, between 3 p.m. Thursday and 2 p.m. Friday.

A thief or thieves entered an unlocked vehicle on Redwood Lane and removed a Nikon camera valued a $300 and a cell charger valued at $35, between 7 p.m. Feb. 10 and 5 a.m. Feb. 11.

A thief or thieves made entry into a locked vehicle and stole the car stereo, amplifier, subwoofer, iPhone car charger and black backpack, total value of $660, 12:42 a.m. Sunday.

Assault

An incident of domestic violence was reported on Ghirlanda Court, 8:39 p.m. Friday.

A male victim reported prior domestic violence with his wife on Church Street, 10:35 a.m. Sunday.

Someone was battered by an unknown female suspect at the Sabrato Apartments on Monterey Street, 10:59 p.m. Sunday.

Petty theft

A thief or thieves stole a rear license plate from a 1989 Blue Honda Civic parked at Wal-Mart, 7150 Camino Arroyo, between 12:30 and 3:10 p.m., Saturday.

A thief or thieves stole a rear license plate from a blue 2007 Chevrolet, between 5 p.m. Jan. 31 and 8 a.m. Feb. 4.

A shoplifter went into Wal-Mart and stole a pack of Gillette Razor blades and an electrician’s wire kit, 2:22 p.m. Feb. 10. The suspect was stopped by security by managed to get away but not before leaving a cell phone, knife, car key and jacket behind.

Missing juvenile

A juvenile was reported missing on Princevalle Street, 7:11 p.m. Saturday.

A juvenile was last seen on Dowdy Street after leaving a cousin’s house, 9 p.m. Saturday.

Non-injury accident

A driver collided with the railroad crossing arm near the intersection of eastbound Tenth Street and Alexander Street, 11:14 a.m. Sunday.

Injury accident

Two vehicles collided on First Street and Westwood Drive, 8:20 p.m. Sunday. The first vehicle failed to yield to the second vehicle. Four people were injured and the car was towed away.
