Dear Editor,

The article printed on July 8 explaining Jeff Garner’s death was in poor taste.

Although Lydia Mollet did not have sense enough to censor graphic and unneeded details of that horrific and unforgiving night, reporter Matt King should have.

Jeff Garner chose to live a lifestyle not embraced by many, but for those who mourn his death, are celebrating his life for all that he was. Mollett is a child that seems in awe of the tragedy and the author should have seen that.

The public was given a slanted view of a 15-year-old child, that leaves us, friends and family, with a stomach-turning and aggravating feeling to add to our sadness. Please do our friend justice.
