fence on the 4800 block of Monterey Road, between 7 p.m. Aug. 26
and 6 a.m. Aug. 27.

Under the influence of a controlled substance
Brian Keith Goodan, 46, of Morgan Hill, 11:07 p.m. Aug. 31, near Monterey Road and Live Oak Avenue in Morgan Hill for possession of methamphetamine and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Andrew John Ramirez, 31, of San Jose, 3:43 p.m. Aug. 31, on the 13600 block of Watsonville Road in Morgan Hill.
Drunk in public
Edwin James Rooney, 29, of Sacramento, 4:08 a.m. Aug. 30, near Uvas and Little Uvas roads in Morgan Hill after deputies found him sleeping in the middle of the road.
Other Sheriff’s IncidentsVandalism
Several areas on Llagas Avenue in San Martin, including a brick wall and concrete bridges, were tagged in orange stick letters, between 6 p.m. Aug. 27 and 7 a.m. Aug. 28.
The word “OOPS” and “AR” were spray painted on a man’s fence on the 15000 block of Lopez Court in San Martin, between 9:30 a.m. Aug. 26 and 4 p.m. Aug. 29.
Deputies located two men who admitted to tagging several locations on Llagas Avenue in San Martin with green spray paint, 9:30 p.m. Aug. 22. The men agreed to clean up the tagging to avoid criminal charges by the following Monday, which they did. Deputies estimated the original amount of damage to be less than $400.
Recovered stolen vehicle
A 2005 blue GMC Yukon stolen out of Newman was found dumped over the side of a road and into a canyon on a private ranch near Pacheco Pass Highway and Bell Station, 9 a.m. Aug. 28.
Grand theft
About 300 gallons of diesel fuel worth an estimated $1,200 were siphoned from six semis parked in a locked lot on the 14000 block of Llagas Avenue in San Martin, between 6 p.m. Aug. 27 and 5:15 a.m. Aug. 28.
