The Salvation Army of Gilroy is making a desperate plea for help this holiday season for their annual toy drive. They plan to assist nearly 1,000 children this Christmas, but as of Thursday’s count they will not have enough presents for next week’s distribution unless the community can step up to fill the gap.
The Salvation Army serves families in Gilroy, Morgan Hill and surrounding areas. They have hosted a number of toy drives this year to try and meet their goal but have come up short. They need approximately 250 more new, unwrapped toys.
