The Gilroy Farmers’ Market will celebrate dads this Sunday with a couple nifty additions to its regular offerings.Â
A snazzy new Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie truck from South County Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Gilroy will be on display for fathers to ogle at (dads can dream, right?), along with a private model train collection belonging to a Gilroy local. Orchard Supply has also donated equipment for some helpful planting and irrigation demonstrations.
Families are encouraged to bring dad along to the market, treat him to some mouth-watering linguica with all the trimmings from the Silva Sausage stand, followed by a delicious baked treat from Rebekah’s Culinary Academy. Check off your weekly grocery list while perusing beautiful local produce and listening to jazz music played by the Butch Oyao band. Organizers would love to see you there!
The Gilroy Farmers’ Market is held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Sunday through Oct. 28, 2012 on the corner of Monterey and Seventh streets in downtown Gilroy.Â
