159742~Prevention key to gang-free GHS—The recent gang
violence on the campus of Gilroy High School is disturbing, mostly
because there doesn’t seem to be any action from the administration
to prevent such incidents.
Often the editorials are poorly written critism, with no suggestions or ideas. How refreshing to read a well-informed commentary on GHS. Although my children have graduated from GHS, the same problems exist. I do take issue with the idea that “ALL’ must be punished for “some.” Banning certian colors is a frustration, at times it feels that the gangs have won, and now everyone must alter their behavior because of the power of the gangs.
Where are the parents?? Why are they wimply excused from responsibility??
