Christopher’s freshmen duo of Jamie Boutte’ (19 minutes, 56 seconds) and Natalie Filippi (21:24) placed first and third, respectively, but the varsity girls fell shy of the top spot at the second Monterey Bay League Pacific Division Center Meet of the season Wednesday at Toro Park.
The girls picked up five points, but missed out on a second straight sweep, falling to North Salinas 27-29.
Cynthia Gonzalez (22:16) finished in eighth, Allison Taylor (23:01) took 10th, Bridget Brown (23:49) came in 18th and Vanessa Bernal (28:04) crossed in 34th.
Christopher’s boys top placer was Matthew Switzer, who clocked 2:04 to finish 25th.
