Two brand-new John Deere tractors were recently stolen from a farm at the southern end of the county, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office.
The John Deere 6430 tractors were taken from a farm yard on Frazier Lake Road and one was recovered soon thereafter at the corner of Bloomfield and Frazier Lake. The second tractor is still missing and is fitted with two 150-gallon mix tanks.
The Sheriff’s office is asking the public to remain diligent in taking steps to protect your farm equipment. If you have any information about the missing tractor, please contact Rural Crime Deputy George Hessling at 408-421-6746.
