VFW Bingo moved to 2-0 with a one-game lead over four teams Thursday by outlasting the Lost Boyz 22-11 at Christmas Hill Park in Men’s Fall E Softball League play.

Jeff Heck’s two-run double keyed a six-run first inning for VFW Bingo. Josh Dias hit two home runs and Nick Robinson and Juan Zavala each provided four hits to the VFW offense. Henry Quistian homered and Moises Caballero went 3-for-4 for the Lost Boyz.

The God Squad rallied for four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to upset Trevino Brothers Construction 12-11 and leave both teams at 1-1.

Emi Mendez lined a run-scoring two-out single in the God Squad seventh to plate the winning run. Paul Garcia and Louie Catano each went 4-for-4 for the winners. Mark Guajardo homered and doubled for Trevino Brothers.

Joel Gaeta hit a triple, double and single to lead Burch please past the Loco Boys 11-7. Elias Madrid doubled and singled for the Loco Boys.

No Soup 4 You reached 2-0 in the Men’s EE League Thursday with a 13-9 nod over the Sweepers at Las Animas Park.

Fausto Padilla went 3-for-3 and scored three No Soup runs. John Paul Arde and Kris Orre each homered for the Sweepers.

Anritsu also moved to 2-0 by defeating Claddagh Brew Crew 17-8. Ben Hartshorn lined two home runs and a single for Anritsu. Jose Hernandez tripled and singled for Claddagh.

Cross Ministries moved past Gilroy Thunder 17-5 as Eddie Adame plated seven runs with a homer, triple and sacrifice fly. Jason Stevenson and Julian Gomez each collected three hits and scored three Ministries runs. Juan Rios homered for Gilroy Thunder.

Guts & Glory improved to 3-0 in Co-Rec League action Sunday at Las Animas with a 16-10 decision over Pacheco Pass Produce.

Ben Hemeon hit a grand slam and Karlie Hemeon went 4-for-5 for Guts & Glory. Shae Adams homered in a 4-for-4 showing for Pacheco Pass Produce.

Out 2 Play (3-0) topped Storm 19-5 as Pelon Alvarez hit for the cycle and scored five runs. Eddie Gamboa doubled and singled for Storm.

Gabe Hernandez went 4-for-4 and scored three runs to lead Team Rush past En Tu Cara 18-8. Ralph Ortez homered in a 3-for-3 effort for En Tu Cara.

Hi-Energy Networks earned an 18-7 win over Team Xtreme. Marco Lopez homered in a 3-for-3, four-run effort for Hi-Energy. Derek orca homered, tripled and doubled for Team Xtreme.
