In addition to the many scholarships that will be awarded to pageant contestants, the Queen and members of her Court will will be awarded cash prizes and gifts.

The Queen and her Court also will make appearances at different events for local clubs and organizations during the Garlic Festival season. In past years, the queen has been invited to participate in the “Takko Garlic and Beef Festival” held in Gilroy’s sister city, Takko-Machi, Japan.

Tickets can be purchased between 9am and 5pm through Friday at the Garlic Festival office, 7473 Monterey Street, or at the door Saturday. Cost is $5.
