Dionicio E. Rodriguez died after a short illness Saturday, April 23, 2005 at Saint Louise Hospital, Gilroy. He was 78.
A native of Jalisco, Mexico, Mr. Rodriguez moved to Gilroy in the 1970s and worked as a pear orchard foreman for many years.
He is the loving husband of 25 years to Tomasa Rodriguez of Gilroy; the loving father of Miguel and his wife Sandra Rodriguez of Morgan Hill, Dionicio Rodriguez Jr. of Los Angeles and David Rodriguez of Gilroy; and the grandfather of Isaac James Rodriguez and Julian Miguel Rodriguez both of Gilroy.
He was preceded in death by his son, Alfredo Rodriguez.
Services will be held at 7pm, Thursday, April 28, 2005, and at 10am, Friday, April 29, 2005, at the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church, 7250 Forest Street, Gilroy. Arrangements are under direction of Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy.
Burial will follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park.
